The Open Jam had no fixed roster. Artists who joined through INI Movement stepped in while SYNGA kept the session moving and made space for the music to find its own direction.
How it moves
One day, one long movement
Summer Jam brought Boyos Wonderland and INI Movement together at Houtbaar for a full day in the garden built around DJs, live musicians and people moving for the same reason.
The Open Jam shaped the day from the start. Artists joining through INI Movement stepped in while SYNGA kept the session moving. Later, Estafête let DJs and musicians react to one another in real time, passing tracks between decks and live instrumentation.
Around it all, Team de Boef opened the tattoo pop-up, Ephemeris Records filled the garden with crates and Houtbaar kept food and drinks moving.
When the garden closed at 23:00, the night moved inside and carried on until 02:00.

From the first record in the garden to the final stretch inside, these are the people guiding the movement of Summer Jam.
AEV.AYA
AEV.AYA is SYNGA behind the decks. Her sets are rooted in R&B, soul, funk and hip-hop: deep grooves, familiar vocals and newer cuts with enough bite to keep the floor moving. She opens Summer Jam before returning to the microphone later in the day.
SYNGA
SYNGA is a singer, songwriter and MC moving through soul, hip-hop, Chicago house and alternative R&B. She hosts Summer Jam, keeps the Open Jams moving and sings inside Estafête, catching openings in the music and bringing the room into them.
Boyos Soundsystem
Boyos Soundsystem is Mick, Tomas and Nico: three friends with disco and house at the core, joined by soca, zouk, Brazilian boogie and whatever earns its place in the set. They play through the afternoon and return after midnight for the final stretch inside.
Shamis
Shamis is a producer, DJ, songwriter, vocalist and founder of INI Movement. His path runs through hip-hop, soul, jazz, broken beat, house, reggae and afrobeat. He plays his own set first, then steps into Estafête to pass records, cues and live ideas back and forth with the band.
Tommaso
Tommaso is a Florence-born, Chicago-based selector, record digger and co-founder of Elevator Music Live. House music runs through his story, alongside global records and deep dancefloor history. At Summer Jam he plays his own vinyl set before going back and forth with the live musicians inside Estafête.
UMOJA
Haarlem duo UMOJA have been digging through Afrobeat, cumbia, highlife, Benga, funk and electronic music since 2011. Their archival knowledge grew into original collaborations across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, connecting East African rhythms, Afro disco, basslines, guitar and percussion without taking the safe route.
Inside Estafête
A band built to respond in the moment: a rhythm section at the core, horns and guitar around it, SYNGA on vocals and DJs passing tracks into live hands.
Estafête
Estafête brings DJs and musicians into the same moving conversation. Tracks are picked up, answered and rebuilt by the band in real time, leaving space for instinct, risk and the moments nobody could plan before the first record changes hands.
.Multibeat
At the centre of Estafête is .Multibeat: Boudewijn Pleij on keys, Thijs van Zutphen on bass and Aron Smit on drums. The future jazz trio brings hip-hop swing, jazz harmony and a collaborative instinct—the backbone that keeps everything moving while leaving room for the music around them to change.
Yasper
Yasper is an Amsterdam-based guitarist, producer, composer and musical director known for warm guitar-led beats across chillhop, lo-fi and downtempo. Inside Estafête, that detailed ear gets put to work in real time, responding to the band and the records as they move.
Rebiere
Rebiere is Lucas van Ee on saxophone and guitar. More than a decade of stages with Gallowstreet sits alongside years of building records, artists and live concepts behind the scenes. He knows the Estafête format and when to lead, answer or leave space.
Lezaam Beets
Born and raised in Cape Town and now based in Amsterdam, trombonist Lezaam Beets carries South African jazz, West African rhythmic ideas and contemporary improvisation into the formation. His playing adds another voice for Estafête to follow and answer.
D!ma Loginov
Born in Kazakhstan and now based in Amsterdam, D!ma Loginov moves comfortably between jazz, funk, soul and pop. Work with Gallowstreet, Jungle by Night and his own projects all feed into a trumpet voice ready to react when Estafête changes direction.
Crates and ink
The garden has more to find between sets, with records to dig through and a tattoo studio running throughout the day.
Ephemeris Records
Ephemeris Records brings crates where Lollywood can sit next to Hollywood, tekno beside Turkish grooves and a shameless Eurodance record can suddenly make complete sense. Dig between sets, bring a tote and leave with something you did not know you needed.
Team de Boef
Ben de Boef, Mauro Mejia and Inktprikker host the Summer Jam tattoo studio with flash sheets, freehand options and styles moving from bold old-school work to detailed blackwork and clean fine lines. Walk by, talk to the artists and come early if you want a spot.
